Write to hi@soakout.com and we'll get back to you, usually within two working days. Please say which iPhone and iOS version you have. Don't send screenshots of your log unless you want to — we never need your health data to help.
Move your log to a new iPhone
On the old iPhone, open Settings (the gear on Today) › Your data › Back up to Files, and save the file somewhere the new iPhone can reach, such as iCloud Drive. The file is called logwell-backup-<date>.json.
On the new iPhone, open Settings › Your data › Restore from backup and pick that file. Logwell shows the date and how many shots, weigh-ins and side effect entries it holds before anything is replaced.
A restore didn't work
If a restore fails, nothing changes: your log stays exactly as it was, and Logwell says why. The usual reasons:
- The file isn't a Logwell backup — backups are called logwell-backup-<date>.json. A CSV export can't be restored.
- The backup is from a newer version — update Logwell from the App Store and try again.
- The file is damaged or didn't finish saving — make the backup again on the other iPhone.
Reminders don't arrive
Check Settings › Reminders in Logwell. A medication needs a schedule (every how many days) before it can remind you, and the first reminder comes after your first logged shot.
If Logwell shows “Notifications are off”, tap Open iOS Settings and allow notifications. Focus modes can also hold reminders back.
Restore Logwell Plus
In Settings, tap Plus, then Restore on the Logwell Plus screen. Plus belongs to the Apple account you bought it with, so sign in with that account in iOS Settings first.
To cancel the yearly plan, go to iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Lifetime is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.
Delete your data
Swipe left on any entry in History to delete it. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on the iPhone. Backups you saved to Files stay where you put them until you delete them.
